Change Up Your Fitness Routine With These 5 Moves

Regular exercise can help keep you healthy, happy, young, and fit. No matter what your exercise routine involves, whether it's cardio, weights, or yoga - it's always a good idea to add in a little variety every once in a while. Here are 5 moves to help strengthen your body and keep you feeling and looking your absolute best:

  1. Kettlebell Squat
    Much like a regular squat, this move helps strengthen your lower body and back. You'll need a kettlebell; pick a weight you're comfortable with, and as you squat, hold the kettlebell between your legs, moving it in a forward swinging motion as you come back up from your squat position.
  2. Mountain Climbers
    This a great move that combines cardio and agility. Start in a pushup position, move your legs in a running motion, bringing one leg forward at a time, so that your knees are under your chest while your hands are holding up your body with your arms.
  3. Burpees
    This gives you a full-body workout, plus cardio. Start by standing straight, jump up with your arms above your head, and follow by jumping down into a pushup position, placing your hands on the ground first and then kicking your legs back to achieve the pushup position. Repeat this move.
  4. Incline Bench Press
    Similar to a regular bench press that helps strengthen your chest, core, and arms, this move is done from and inclined bench rather than a flat bench. Make sure to pick a comfortable weight.
  5. Dips
    Dips are perfect for getting a good arm workout as this move targets your upper body and arms. Facing backwards, place your hands on a bench, palms down and fingers forward with your legs straight out in front of you. Lower your body towards the ground until your arms are making a right angle at the elbow. Press off your hands to the starting position. Repeat this move.
