Maybe you’ve heard of butter coffee, sometimes referred to as bulletproof coffee. If you haven’t, it might seem a little strange at first… you put butter in your coffee rather than cream or milk. You can simply add 1-2 tablespoons on unsalted grass-fed butter to black coffee and blend it until frothy and creamy, similar to the consistency of a latte. For added benefits, you can also add 1-2 tablespoons of MCT oil, which is found in coconut oil, before blending. While some people may love the taste of butter and do this solely for the taste - there are actually a number of health benefits that come from adding butter to your coffee as well.
